Best practices in data visualisation

Ethics in research has clearly defined rules and best practices to encourage the use of data, especially if data collection is related to human subjects. Because data visualization is rather a new discipline, ethics and guidelines in this domain are still a grey area, and best practices are not stablished yet. However, different visualization techniques can be used to distort data. This workshop aims to review common practices for data visualization in several publications, and provide the best tools to make the most use of your data, and present it in the most fashionable way.

Learn the fundamentals of data visualization and practice communicating with data. This course covers how to apply design principles, human perception, color theory, and effective storytelling to data visualization.

If you present data to others, aspire to be an analyst or data scientist, or if you’d like to become more technical with visualization tools, then you can grow your skills with this course.

3h training course or one day workshop.
